I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to do research with CERN. CERN is a European collaboration that studies physics using particle colliders. I am working with the team that is developing the grid infrastructure to process the huge (in the order of 1000 TB a year for 10 - 15 years) amount of raw data that will be produced by one of the experiments when it comes online in 2007.
