I visited the Marine Corp Memorial, adjacent to Arlington National Cemetary while scouting locations to shoot the D.C. 4th of July fireworks. It is amazing to me that tourist are out seeing the sites at 10:30 at night, bus after bus of them.

I just go back from a fun, if short, weekend in San Jose with Oliver and his parents Sharon and Rodrigo. We spent some time on the play ground, hiking and of course eating. I had the best Thai food I’ve ever had in fact. I took some time at one of our playground runs to take some pictures of Oliver and I figured I’d share them since someone else might enjoy them.

Our friend, Kathryn , came to visit us in Arlington for some sight seeing and some dancing. We wondered around the mall a bit, took some pictures with Einstein at the National Academy of Science and got some dancing it at Glen Echo.
